Kilmallock Museum

Kilmallock Museum has an extensive collection of artifacts collected over many years describing key stages in Kilmallock´s history.

The scale model from 1597 gives a very clear image of what the walled town community would have been like at that time.

It shows the four main gates to the town, and how the town expanded from King´s Castle north towards King´s Gate (also known as North Gate).

The museum also has many historical elements from the town, including butter churners made in Kilmallock for the creamery that used to have prominance in the town.
