The London Road Town Team (LRTT) is a society made up of locals who live in the surrounding area to London Road. Their goals are to work with the local council and police team, to patrol the area to deter trouble-makers and ultimately make the London Road area a safer and cleaner place. In addition, they have several other schemes to improve businesses within the local area as well as an arts scheme for members of the local community to create displays in unused buildings as an act of community engagement.

This is citizenship for the environment as it allows a safe and secure place for people to go. they have focussed on keeping the streets safe from crime, but have also concentrated on making it a cleaner place, so there is less litter and les harm to the environment. Along with that it is a community based project.
