Ferring Parish Council

Imagine a village or Parish with 2,500 properties and 4,500 residents where people say "good morning", care about their neighbours and take an interest in local affairs. You now have a taste of what is special about Ferring. It has community spirit.

Ferring Parish Council consists of twelve elected and co-opted members who live in the village and give their service on a voluntary basis. The Council has no political, religious or ethnic affiliations and its income is received via a modest contribution from each Council Tax payer in the village.

The Council’s objective is to look after village interests and improve facilities for all of its residents. The Council can only meet that objective by efficient collaboration with Arun District Council and, on wider issues, with West Sussex County Council.

Whatever their age or means, the Council believes that every resident should benefit in some way from being a part of Ferring Village. The views of residents are actively sought in respect of all matters of village life and questions or comments on local issues are welcomed at regular Council meetings.

The Council hopes that you will find the site to be of interest. Just click on an item on the side bar for more information.
