Preston Park

Preston Park is Brighton's largest urban green space. It is used for a variety of community events such as concerts, circuses, fairs, family days and more in order to promote being outdoors and valuing nature.

The park has been awarded the 'Green Flag Award' which recognizes the high standard at which park managers are looking after the park, ensuring that everybody has access to quality green spaces.

The park contributes to environmental citizenship by encouraging the growth of biodiversity through the planning and management of habitats in areas such as the 'rock garden', 'rose garden', 'walled garden' and the Wheatley Elm tree collection. It also advocates and promotes being outdoors in green spaces, encouraging people to value nature more.
