Mamy studied architecture in Montreal and is now based in Senegal where she practices as an architect. She is also co-founder of Lives, a platform which promotes African destinations and their ecosystems. Mamy uses the medium of both photography and videography to communicate her vision and personal creative world, which allows her to express her practice and the richness of African culture. Mamy aims to use her work as vehicle in which to challenge existing limitations, to innovate and to put the arts at the forefront of the young, dynamic and creative community that make up the Senegal of today and who will be the Senegal of tomorrow.
